Prayer is important as a believer in Christ. When you pray as a believer it shifts things in the atmosphere. You are a joint heir with Christ and you have authority and access in the kingdom of God. 1 thessalonians 5:16-18 states, ” Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Your prayers are powerful. There is LIFE AND DEATH in the power of your tongue. Prayer is speaking life and if you do not know what to pray the Holy spirit which dwells on the inside of you as a believer in Christ will give you what to pray. The word of God is a powerful source to go to when you are praying. Praying the word of God is the best because God is His word. I would encourage you today to use your authority as a citzen of Heaven to pray on behalf of yourself, family, and the world.
