Day 7– CONFIRMATION
This was the day of confirmation for me because we went to the place called shiloh where the prophetic was birthed. We went to the place where the prophet Samuel was anointed as the first prophet. That was so much revelation and confirmation for me because God had revealed to me years ago that He called me as His prophet and then He confirmed it on this trip when I had that encounter with Him on previous day and also confirmed it on this day being at the place where the first prophet was birthed. A prophet is a mouthpiece for God. We all can prophesy God’s word but God calls some people into the office of a prophet to teach and equip others on their prophetic gift.
God helped me understand that a prophet is who I am its not something I could have become. He told me He called me and He will equip me along the way with leaders He send to stir up the calling. I realized being at the place where samuel was anointed that God calls and we should answer Him with our “YES”.
While at this place I Worshipped the Lord and finally accepted after all these years that I was His prophet. I asked Him to continue to guide me and equip me in the call and He said He has been doing that all along and will continue to do it. But I just need to walk in it. At this same place we went to where the ark of the covenant was. It was amazing to understand that we don’t have to go to a specific place or building to worship God but He is omnipresent and we can worship Him whenever and whereever we are. We are the temple now and His presence dwells inside of us when we are believers in Christ. We no longer have to find His presence we carry it!! Wheeewwww.
After we left this place we got on the bus and headed towards dinner. I was actually able to capture a picture where a shephard was taking care of his sheep. It reminded me of the scripture where it talks about the Lord being our shephard. “I am the Good Shepherd who lays down my life as a sacrifice for the sheep. ” John 10:11 (TPT). It gave me a clear understanding of the scripture in a new way seeing the sheep and shephard.
We arrived to dinner and it was lovely. The chicken, rice, and hummus was incredible! The pita bread was so amazing! Then we went to fellowship and worship at a church who welcomed us. Even though they were speaking in another language some parts of service you knew the Lord was being glorified we were all one accord in the spirit. It was amazing to praise and worship in the joy of the Lord for hours. Lastly, after service we went to our hotel and we enjoyed a nice cup of hot cocoa. What a day!
You are LOVED,
